Agility was always a sport I was keen to learn but never had the correct dog to try it with. I knew my quest for the right candidate was finally over when I first met Teddi 'Glenvalley Vanilla Spice of Pomkins AWB'. She was 12 weeks old and even at that young age was keen, bold and exuded intelligence.

Teddi learnt basic obedience as a puppy, she passed her KC Bronze Good Citizen as a puppy (and her Silver Test since) and also regularly attended ringcraft classes as I wanted her to be well socialized. Before I commenced with the Agility training my vet assessed her to confirm that she was extremely sound and healthy - I would recommend to anyone wishing to try Agility that they do the same.

In September '07 we started a Basic Agility course run by Broxburn DTC. We staring going to a few shows in '08 and went to most of the Scottish shows in '09. In this time, Teddi has achieved more than I could have ever imagined and has had 17 firsts, 11 seconds and several other placings - she has also been awarded her KC Agility Warrant Bronze title. She has now worked her way into Grade 5.

We're very proud to announce that Teddi - Glenvalley Vanilla Spice of Pomkins AW (B) is the Number One Small Grade 1 dog in the UK for 2009 with Agility Eye magazine's league table.
