Bellybands

Piddling Problems? Try Making Bellybands

If you're having trouble house breaking boys - try making a bellyband for them. These bands are great for the times in between walks or outside potty breaks.

Mine are made from washable cotton which is sewn onto soft fleece fabric. I use poppers - but you can also use sew on velcro.

Then simply stick a panty liner on the fleecy side of the bellyband - some supermarkets carry generic brands as low as 30 for 25p packs - or use the brand you prefer.

I change out the panty liner frequently and wipe the underside of my lads with baby wipes. If you also brush the hair that goes under the band daily then it will prevent it from going flat. I've made several belly bands, so I wash and rotate them, so they're always clean.

N/B. Don't leave them on continually - be sure they're not too tight, and check them frequently to make sur

e they're not too wetand there is no chaffing.

The dogs quickly get used to them and they in no way impede their ability to play etc.
